Get Involved

We are always looking for people who can help us for even a couple of hours a week.

We need help across a range of activities. These include:

  • Preparation and checking of furniture and white goods prior to offering them to clients
  • Loading and unloading the van
  • Assisting with collections and deliveries
  • Relief drivers
  • Furniture upcycling and painting

We provide refreshments throughout the day and offer a £5 lunch allowance for a full day’s work.

If you could spare some time to help us and would like to join our team please contact us.

& Marketing

Like all charities, we depend upon fundraising and voluntary donations to help cover our operating costs and for the replacement of large capital items such a vans for the collection and delivery of donated furniture and office equipment.

We need people to help us raise funds and to help us make everyone in the community aware of our services. If this is of interest to you please contact us.

Work Experience
& Training

We have had a great deal of success offering work experience / on the job training to people trying to get back to employment.

Over the years, our training has helped people to regain their confidence after period of unemployment or ill health. As a result, many have developed new skills that made them more attractive to a potential employer.

We are now working with the Furniture Reuse Network, a national body, to offer formal courses that will have recognised accreditation.

Interested? Please contact us.
