Furniture Helpline is a partner in the national FareShare food recycling scheme.
FareShare rescues good quality, surplus food which would otherwise go to waste and redistributes it to charities and community groups. It tackle two issues – food poverty and food waste, providing in-date food from supermarkets, manufacturers and other providers that would otherwise end up in landfill.
Since 2016, Furniture Helpline has been working with lunch clubs, food banks and other community groups and voluntary organisations dedicated to providing meals for people in need.
Working with our FareShare supply partners SCRATCH in Southampton we can assist you through the enrolment and order processes. Deliveries are distributed regularly via our warehouse in Bordon.
