Bulky Waste Collections

We operate the Bulky Waste collection service for the residents of Guildford and Waverley Borough Council areas .​

Collections are from outside only. We do not enter buildings including sheds and garages, or rear gardens, and our crew will not carry items up and down steps.

This is not a choose and book service, a date will be emailed to you, this can take up to 5 working days to receive.

Collections operate Monday - Friday only, between 8am - 6pm. We do not give timed slots.

We are unable to accommodate bookings that need collection within the same week.

Important - new disposal of upholstered furniture regulations

​In January 2023 the government introduced new regulations that changed the way upholstered furniture is disposed of.

This was due to the Persistent Organic Pollutants found in some domestic seating, that can be hazardous to the environment if they are allowed to leach into watercourses.

​As a result, all upholstered items must be collected, transported and disposed of separately from other waste.

This means that if you have a sofa and a wardrobe, they will need to be booked as two separate collections.
